Privacy policy

The short version: we keep only the data needed to run the games. Only the organizer sees a guest's mobile number, and event pages are not indexed by Google.

What data is collected

Organizers create an account with an email address and a password. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never seen or stored by us.
Payments for event plans are made by UPI or card through Razorpay. We receive only the payment confirmation, never your card or UPI details.
Event details: the event title, date, family names, favourites, the organizer's questions, up to 6 puzzle photos and an optional background photo. Photos are shrunk (compressed) in the browser before they are saved.
Guests join without an account (anonymously). They give a first name, last name, age, gender and an optional mobile number. Their answers and scores are saved too.

Who can see it

Event names and photos are visible only to that event's guests while the event is running. Once it ends, only the organizer can see them.
A guest's mobile number is visible only to that guest and the organizer.
Right answers are visible only to the organizer until they are revealed.
Event pages (/e/...) are closed to search engines (noindex).

Where it is kept, and for how long

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). It is not deleted when the event ends; it stays until the organizer asks for it to be deleted. To have your data removed, contact the event's organizer or write to us using the contact details on this site.

Analytics and cookies

Vercel Web Analytics runs only on the public pages (home, games, FAQ). It uses no cookies and does not identify visitors personally. Event and game pages have no analytics. We use no advertising cookies.
